While you are at Onar do
not plan to do much.Onar is an isolated seaside spot located far down a bumpy
dirt tract in the middle of nowhere. A perfect zen spot with eight
minimalist-chic stone cottages on the extremely rural location on the east
coast of Andros - Greece's most underrated island.
There are a number of luxuries for being out here that you don't get at many
resorts ;no WiFi, no shops, no nightclubs ,very few people and no traffic.
Just silence and seclusion.
You are exposed to nature
as it should be; an uncrowded stunning pale blue bay with a sandy beach
where you can gaze at night to the stars, a trickling stream ,a beautiful
landscape and an occasional bleat from the goats in the valley is all you
can expect .Time does not exist here.
The restaurant has a pretty
communal outdoor dining area which serves delicious local,organic foods under
pretty shaded plane trees. The whole concept of this resort is more
"friends among others" than hotel.
